By now, you should have received the email regarding this FYP 2 weblog. Before I go on with the details of yesterday's meeting with Amran,
The aims of the weblog are as follows:
1. To serve as a vehicle for communicating within the team between meetings.
2. To serve as a mode of communicating our progress to Amran.
3. Any type of comments can be posted.
Some highlights of yesterday's meeting:
There was a meeting between the FYP supervisors and they are questioning how relevant each team is in making use of New Media technologies (could be concepts too), in each FYP 2 projects. They are concerned that the products of FYP 2 would not be different from that of FYP 1. We have been advised to discuss how our project can better incorporate New Media.
The blog has been set up and we have been advised to check back/update the blog regularly. Meetings should and will be posted on the blog and so will updates. Reasons for not being able to attend to meetings, postponements can now all be done through the blog.
And lastly,

Hey guys!
I've spoken to Tania and we will still be accepting new proposals so that you can incorporate the New Media element into your FYP 2. Some other teams have done so. So, you guys might wanna discuss among yourselves and we'll discuss about it asap. BTW, you can still stick to the current proposal BUT think of how you can include New Media elements into your final product. Cheriosss!
BTW ... Katako is your `frenly neighbourhood FYP2 Supervisor' ... ;)
